Broad Institute Portraits

This spring I was back at the Broad Institute again for another round of portraits, this time to photograph a group of new research fellows. I always enjoy working here as it’s a fun challenge to take a standard lab or office setting and try to do something different with it each time.

Graphite Pile

One of the things I enjoy most about my job is getting to go behind the scenes and see things the average person might not get access to. This was precisely the case for one of my recent projects on MIT’s graphite exponential pile in their nuclear reactor lab.

MIT’s historic graphite exponential pile has been restored as a tool for education and research.
