About Casey Atkins Casey Atkins was born in the United States and spent her early years on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. She has subsequently lived half her life overseas in a variety of different countries from Peru to Germany to China. In 2008 she graduated from Jacobs University Bremen (an international university in northern Germany) with a B.A. in Integrated Social Sciences. Casey’s passion for photography began during high school and deciding to pursue it as a career, she embarked on a 15-week course in documentary photography at the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies in Portland, Maine in the spring of 2009. In the spring of 2010, Casey completed her masters degree in photojournalism at Boston University. She is currently based in Boston and is available for work. |
